Machu’s “jito-me” managed to instantly captivate fans from episode one. Spurred by this scene, social media platforms quickly filled with parody illustrations, leading to the emergence of a “jito-me series” featuring classic Gundam characters drawn in Machu’s style.

Afterward, Machu’s jito-me continues to appear, sparking a wave of posts such as, “Machu’s jito-me is the best,” and “Jito-me Machu is adorable.” For Machu, the jito-me has become more than just a facial expression—it can even be called her weapon.

Many fans declare that “Jito-me Machu figures are a must,” and among cosplayers, it seems to have become common knowledge that “Machu cosplay means jito-me.”

“Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX” is the latest entry in the “Mobile Suit Gundam” series, which began in 1979. The story follows a high school girl living peacefully in a space colony, Amate Yuzuriha (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa), who gets entangled in the illegal mobile suit duel sport "Clan Battle" after her fateful encounter with the girl Nyaan (voiced by Yui Ishikawa). Jointly produced by Studio Khara, known for the “Rebuild of Evangelion” series, and Sunrise, the series has generated significant buzz. The theatrical preview version released in January this year was a massive hit, earning about 3.4 billion yen at the box office. It has also been decided that it will get a nationwide re-release in 368 theaters starting June 20.
