Gundam Mark "Two" - In "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam," Jerid Messa's Native Pronunciation Slips Out Due to Sudden Reinforcements

There is a particular scene in episode 22 of the anime "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam" that has been talked about as something of a "meme." It involves a line spoken by Jerid Messa (voiced by Kazuhiko Inoue) when reinforcement mobile suits from the Argama appear on the battlefield.

In this episode, Jerid, who is aboard the Jupiter fleet ship Jupitris, is conducting space training with the Newtype cadet Sara Zabiarov and Sidore. During the exercise, they inadvertently discover Reccoa Londe and others transporting the G-Defenser and Methuss. Seizing the initiative, Jerid decides to attack independently.

Upon learning of the peril facing Reccoa's group, the Argama dispatches the Zeta Gundam (piloted by Kamille Bidan), Gundam Mk-II (Emma Sheen), and Rick Dias (Fa Yuiry and Apolly Bay) as reinforcements to the battlefield.

Noticing the reinforcements, Jerid utters as he watches the approaching units, "Is that the Gundam Mark Two?"
