——What inspired you to cosplay Anby Demara from “Zenless Zone Zero” this time?

Corin (no honorifics hereafter): Anby is my favorite character in “Zenless Zone Zero,” and because I am such a big fan, I wanted to portray her in real life. As I prepared for the cosplay, I deepened my understanding and interpretation of her, which made me like her even more. Being able to give form to my favorite character like this is a unique joy of cosplay.

——What aspects did you want to express in this cosplay, and which points are you especially fond of?

Corin: What I wanted to express with this cosplay was Anby’s cool and calm demeanor. Anby is a character who rarely shows emotion and speaks in a matter-of-fact way. To express the sense of “strength” she exudes in her quietness, I focused on slightly expressionless and powerful poses.

I am also very fond of the makeup. Even just changing the false eyelashes or colored contacts can drastically alter the vibe, so I tried many options before settling on something that satisfied me. I practiced and researched makeup a lot to express my own vision of Anby.
