Part of the structure of the mobile armor form quickly unfolds, and from its center, a slender mobile suit is launched as if being ejected. Rather than being stored away, the sudden and unorthodox emergence—like it “bursts out from the main body”—struck viewers with shock. It can definitely be described as one of the most unique transformation sequences in the Gundam franchise.

In terms of attack, Kikeroga also showcases overwhelming firepower and mobility, successively defeating Gates Capa's Hambrabi and Do Murasame's Psycho Gundam. In episode 7's climax, it even stops Machu (Amate Yuzuriha) from going berserk and catches Gundam GQuuuuuuX mid-air, making its unparalleled presence felt throughout the series. Then, in episode 11, it shows off its transformation once again, dominating the conversation among viewers.

Online reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, with comments such as: “So it’s not just a part for carrying princess style,” “It actually has a meaningful transformation,” and “Such an outrageous design that's outrageously cool—so unfair!”

Now that the "phantom name" has finally been visualized and Kikeroga has asserted its singular presence, it can be said that it left the most striking impact of any mobile armor in "Gundam GQuuuuuuX".

Among fans, enthusiasm for a model kit adaptation is rising, with comments like, “Kikeroga is the one I most wanted as a kit after watching the show,” and “How can there not be a model kit after so many battle scenes?”

"Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" is the latest entry in the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series that has continued since 1979. The story follows high school girl Amate Yuzuriha (CV: Tomoyo Kurosawa), who lives peacefully in a space colony until her fateful encounter with the girl Nyaan (CV: Yui Ishikawa) draws her into the illegal mobile suit dueling sport known as "Clan Battle." Co-produced by Studio Khara—best known for the "Rebuild of Evangelion" series—and Sunrise, the project made a splash with its theatrical preview version released in January, which became a massive hit, grossing around 3.4 billion yen. A nationwide re-release in 368 theaters has been announced, starting June 20.
