It has been announced that the TV anime final cour 'BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War - Kashintan' will air on TV Tokyo and other channels in 2026. Alongside this announcement, a teaser visual depicting the awakened Ichigo Kurosaki ready for the final battle has also been revealed.
'BLEACH' is a sword-fighting battle action series created by Tite Kubo, serialized in 'Weekly Shonen Jump', with a total series print run exceeding 130 million copies, making it a popular work. The TV anime's final chapter, 'Thousand-Year Blood War', which started in 2022, is developed over four cours, and following the third cour 'Sokokutan' which aired in the summer of 2024, this time it will be the conclusion with the fourth cour 'Kashintan'.
Comments from Tite Kubo, the original creator and chief overseer, Tomohisa Taguchi, the chief director, and Hikaru Murata, the director, have also been released. Kubo stated, "Please wait just a little bit more. I believe we can make it good." Taguchi expressed his enthusiasm concisely yet powerfully with "Look forward to it!" Murata hinted, "The keyword for the final cour is 'Bankai!'", stirring up fans' expectations.
