What will become of Rudo now? This rollercoaster plot has caused quite a stir online, with comments such as "The feeling of despair was insane!", "The horror of the Abyss is indescribable...", "What a terrible world," and "I can’t wait to see what happens next!"

"Gachiakuta" is based on the popular manga currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), written by Kei Urana with graffiti design by Hideyoshi Ando. It is a battle action series that starts with Rudo, an orphan born in a slum of descendants of criminals, who is cast into the "Abyss" for a crime he didn’t commit.

Episode 1: "Heavenly World"
[Synopsis]
Rudo, a boy living in the slums, sneaks into a waste dump as usual to search for still-usable trash. He finds a stuffed animal there and goes to give it to Chiwa, the girl he secretly likes. But on the way home, Rudo witnesses an unbelievable scene.
