Jinshi (voiced by Takeo Ōtsuka), already a breathtakingly handsome man, becomes even more irresistibly charming…! In episode 2 of the anime "The Apothecary Diaries," there's no doubt viewers will be captivated by Jinshi’s ultra-sweet, whispered words after he takes the aphrodisiac.

At Jinshi’s request, Maomao (voiced by Aoi Yūki) was tasked with making an aphrodisiac. The aphrodisiac, as it turns out, is chocolate. Reportedly, its effects are said to be three times more potent than the usual tonic.

However, while Maomao’s attention was elsewhere, the maids couldn’t resist sneaking some of the leftover aphrodisiac for themselves. With moist eyes, he brought his lips close to Maomao’s neck and gently whispered, “Thank you.”
