Hiro Shimono and Miyu Irino Take on Pro-Level Coffee Brewing, Enjoying Taste Comparisons of Different Beans

On June 24, 2025 (Tuesday) at 10:00 PM, episode #9 of "Say You To Yo Asobi" Tuesday was broadcast on the "Anime LIVE Channel" on ABEMA. In this episode, the special feature in the "Learn from the Pros! Try Anything Wide-Ranging" segment focused on "how to brew delicious coffee," a topic Miyu Irino had expressed interest in during the previous (#8) broadcast. Kazu appeared as a guest, guiding the hosts into the profound world of coffee.

First, they sampled the "Kenya" and "Guatemala" coffee beans recommended by Kazu. Hiro Shimono commented, "The flavor is strong, but it's really smooth," while Irino said, "There's no bitterness or off-flavors, so I can really tell the difference from when I brew it myself. It just straightforwardly conveys the taste of coffee." Shimono also shared an unexpected story: "I often brew coffee for other people. Like for my tax accountant, for example."

Next, Kazu introduced three essential steps for making the best coffee at home, saying, "As long as you follow these three, you can enjoy amazing coffee at home."
