When talking about choosing beans according to mood and situation, Kazu picked five varieties: Brazil, Indonesia, Tanzania, Colombia, and Ethiopia. Irino chose Ethiopia, which is characterized as fruity and recommended "when you want to immerse yourself in your own thoughts," commenting, "I was kind of wanting to be immersed in myself already. Actually, I already am." Shimono chose Indonesia, which is rich, spicy, and pairs well with sweets.
They then tried the practical edition of paper drip and hand drip, considered optimal for home brewing. Equipment including a dripper, paper filters, kettle, coffee cup, digital scale, drip bottle, mill, and server were prepared, and they experienced grinding beans manually. Impressed by the process, Irino asked Shimono to buy him one, to which Shimono replied, "If it's for Miyu, I'll buy it—since you've given me so much." Their friendly exchange highlighted their good relationship.
During the brewing practice, the steps were explained: water temperature around 90°C, rinsing the filter, and pouring hot water slowly in five stages. Upon tasting the coffee he brewed, Shimono remarked with satisfaction, "I can taste a sweetness—this would go well with sweets. Delicious." Irino also gave it a try, carefully following the steps. Viewer comments during the broadcast included, "Do you really brew coffee with this much athleticism!?" "So lively lol," and "This duo is the best lol." Irino, looking at the camera before sipping, said, "Irino, itadakimasu (let's eat/drink)," and added, "Maybe I'm cooler than the coffee." Shimono quipped, "Why didn't you put reverb (echo) on just my time?"

At the end of the episode, Irino, who had previously mentioned wanting to do a barbecue on "Say You To Yo Asobi," commented, "This was a coffee episode in preparation for a barbecue event." Shimono revealed, "Kazu said he'd give us the equipment," and said with surprise, "Is it really okay to just give it away so easily?" The equipment used in the segment was arranged to be kept by the program until the barbecue episode. Still, Irino joked, "Can I take it home? I want to practice," and concluded the show with a smile, saying, "The only other thing we'll need... is money, I guess."
