Sakamoto Days is based on the popular manga by Yuto Suzuki, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). The series has surpassed 12 million copies in circulation worldwide. The story is a "neo action story of everyday life meets the extraordinary," following Tarō Sakamoto (voiced by Tomokazu Sugita), a former top assassin who now runs the peaceful "Sakamoto Store" in a quiet town, as he battles successive assassins to protect the peaceful days with his beloved family. The long-awaited second cour of the anime began airing in July 2025.
