Original Illustration by Popular Manga Artist Tsuyoshi Yasuda Transforms into a Giant Mural

Also, preceding the exhibition, from July 14, a massive mural approximately eight meters in height has appeared on the exterior of OPENBASE SHIBUYA. Featuring new artwork by Tsuyoshi Yasuda, creator of the popular manga "DAYS" and "Blue Miburo," the mural powerfully expresses both the jubilation of Liverpool’s Premier League triumph and the world of "Where Impossible Happens." This striking visual—at the heart of Shibuya—will be on display for a month, serving as a symbolic announcement of the beginning of a new story for visitors.

1st Floor: Where Impossible Happened: The Story So Far

A chronological introduction to the partnership journey between Liverpool FC and Kodansha. Looking back on major initiatives to date—such as the collaboration with "Blue Lock," the local job support program in Liverpool “Creative Works,” and exhibitions at Anfield Stadium.

Basement Level 1: Where Impossible Happens

A special manga by Tsuyoshi Yasuda will be exhibited, inspired by the legendary “Miracle of Istanbul” match—the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final between Liverpool FC and AC Milan, an unforgettable part of the club’s history. Taking the motif of this miraculous comeback from three goals down, visitors can immerse themselves as if they were the main character, even taking the decisive penalty kick.

The passion of the stadium, the tension on the pitch, the euphoria of victory—this is a space where reality and fiction, video and manga, intersect, delivering a truly immersive experience that goes beyond mere visual engagement to touch the heart.

All visitors will also receive an exhibition-exclusive original sticker.
