The genre is... probably... gag comedy? Heartful comedy? The gap is amazing too. The earnest illegitimate child Miya is taken in by the main family and is severely bullied by the terrifying, villainous-looking stepmother and stepsisters, but then a prince appears... You'd think it would be a Cinderella story, or maybe a tale where, despite being mistreated, she turns around the fallen main household with her slender arms (if you know this reference, you must be from the Showa era)... That's what you'd expect, right? However, this story is the exact opposite: the protagonist Miya is doted on by her scary-faced stepmother and stepsisters and enjoys a bright, fun youth (yes, my expressions are Showa-era too). I call it a heartful gap comedy! Sorry for the long introduction!

At last, the much-awaited (by me! Oh, by all of you, too, right!!) anime adaptation has been decided!! I will be voicing Teru Kōnokura, a heartwarming mother with an intimidating presence and villainous looks—I'm looking forward to playing such a character!

And apparently, there are no true villains in this story (probably). However, although everyone is good-natured, each character seems to have a really strong, unique personality. Sounds fun, right!? I'm excited to see how the young and earnest protagonist, Miya, grows into a wonderful lady among these peculiar people. Everyone, please look forward to it! I'm sure it will be funny and moving!! After all, it's heartful!!
