The anime “DANDADAN” is based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, currently serialized in “Shonen Jump+” (Shueisha). The story is an occult-themed supernatural battle and coming-of-age tale, following high school girl Momo Ayase, born into a family of mediums, and her classmate and occult fanatic Ken “Okarun” Takakura (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), as they confront various paranormal phenomena.

■Episode 16 “Seriously Insane”
[Synopsis]
Momo manages to bring the Mongolian Death Worm to the surface. However, perhaps as a result, a volcano suddenly erupts. To stop the approaching lava flow, Momo uses her psychic powers to lift the Mongolian Death Worm and wields it like a hose to extinguish the flames. However, the Kito family interferes with her efforts. On top of that, Jiji, possessed by Evil Eye, also appears, putting Momo in a critical pinch.
