Shiki Proposes Teaming Up with Kōgasaki... Anime "Tougen Anki" Episode 4 Synopsis & Preview Cuts Released

The synopsis and preview images for episode 4 of the anime "Tougen Anki" have been released.

"Tougen Anki" is based on the manga by Yura Urushibara, which is currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten) and has surpassed a total of 4 million copies in the series. The manga draws inspiration from the well-known Japanese folktale "Momotaro," depicting the conflict between those who inherit the blood of demons (Oni) and those who carry the blood of Momotaro.

Shiki Ichinose (voiced by Kazuki Ura), a boy who had been living as a normal human, is suddenly attacked by a mysterious man belonging to the "Momotaro Agency" one day. While fleeing with his foster father, he discovers that their pursuers carry the blood of Momotaro and that he himself possesses the blood of the Oni. This is a tale of the modern descendants of Momotaro and the Oni—not the classical old man and old woman from the folk tale.
