■“Don’t Mess Around!” – The “Sanma Incident” Happens During the Behavior Prediction Quiz as Shimono Shows His Airheaded Side!?

The new segment, “Behavior Prediction Quiz! What Would My Partner Do?” is a corner in which the two predict each other’s actions to see how well they understand each other. “I think we pretty much get each other by now, right?” they both say with confidence, and Shimono starts by predicting Irino’s actions. Even while waiting in a separate room, Shimono accurately guesses, “I was sure he’d be making a funny face.”

Coming back from a commercial break, the subject of the word “Sanma” (pacific saury) that Shimono had written on his flip board comes up. Shimono explains, “Honestly, I was going to write ‘sunglasses,’ but then I started thinking, ‘Wallet? Smartphone?’ and before I knew it, I’d just written ‘ma’!” He continues, “Go ahead! Write all about it with ‘#SanmaNoHiro’! You can write about it until tomorrow if you want!” Irino retorts, “It’s the Sanma Incident!” making for a memorable exchange. Irino also comments, “That was such a sudden burst of natural airheadedness from you,” and their conversation carries on in a cheerful tone.

Next, it’s Irino’s turn to predict Shimono’s actions. Shimono announces his arrival with “Sanma no Hiro is here!” and Irino fires back with a “Don’t mess around!” Although Irino’s predictions were off and he did not get both answers right in the quiz, they wrapped up the segment happily, reflecting, “Let’s do this every three months” and “The voice changer was fun, wasn’t it?”
