Yu Serizawa, Maria Naganawa, Reiji Kawashima, and Masaaki Mizunaka Transform into Cats to Take on a Giant Concentration Game!

On the “Anime LIVE Channel” of ABEMA, “Say You To Yo Asobi Sunday” #12 was broadcast on July 27, 2025 (Sunday) at 22:00. Masaaki Mizunaka from “Nyaight of the Living Cat” and Friday MC Reiji Kawashima appeared as guests. In the customary “Torisechu” segment, the conversation centered on the beloved dogs and cats kept by Mizunaka and Kawashima, as well as the charm of “Nyaight of the Living Cat,” which both guests and MC Yu Serizawa voice in. Additionally, a special “Nyaight of the Living Cat” collaboration project was carried out, and various cat-themed topics were discussed.

In the first segment, “Want to Know More! Masaaki Mizunaka’s Torisechu (While We're at it, Reijiru’s too...),” was held. Serizawa, welcoming Mizunaka to “Say You To Yo Asobi” for the first time, said, “I’m so glad you came on Sunday! I literally pumped my fist when I heard Mizunaka was coming!” showing her delight at Mizunaka’s guest appearance. Mizunaka commented, “You always compliment me when we meet, but maybe you just think it’s like your catchphrase.” To that, Serizawa quickly retorted, “What are you talking about?! It’s not a catchphrase! I’m dead serious!” When Kawashima, having watched the guest announcement in the previous broadcast, noted that Serizawa reacted less enthusiastically to Kawashima than to Mizunaka, Serizawa explained, “But you’re just hilarious by existing!” and added, “I can’t help but tease Reijiru!”—revealing the close relationship between the three.

When asked, “If you had two hours of free time, what would you do?” Kawashima replied, “I’d go home and pet my cat,” to which Mizunaka, who owns a dog, empathized and said, “But if I go home even for just two hours, my dog gets lonely.” Serizawa chimed in, mimicking a cat, “Isn't it the same with cats? Like, ‘You’re back already?’” In response to the question “What’s something that’s always in your fridge?” Mizunaka answered, “Nana-ta’s (his dog's) food,” sharing an anecdote, “Sometimes I open the fridge because I’m hungry, but there’s only Nana-ta’s food inside, which makes me realize I always come second.”
