Daisuke Namikawa’s Inspiration Shocks the Studio! Taku Yashiro Introduces the Charms of His Hometown, Iwate Prefecture!

On the ABEMA “Anime LIVE Channel,” the program "Say You To Yo Asobi Wednesday" #13 was broadcast on July 30, 2025 (Wednesday) at 22:00. This episode featured Miyu Irino, the MC of Tuesday’s Yo Asobi, who joined the show to challenge the segment “Answer! Who Am I?” with the other hosts and also participated in a special segment introducing Taku Yashiro’s hometown, Iwate Prefecture.

■Miyu Irino Appears! His Impression of Wednesdays: “Absolutely, the Most Scatterbrained!”

After another program had ended, Miyu Irino appeared in the studio. Daisuke Namikawa greeted him by saying, “I hear you’ve been talking! Something about things being crazy—by Yashiro-kun, right?” To which Irino responded, “No, no, not just Yashiro-kun! Both of you are crazy (laughs),” and added, “I can see all the viewers’ comments, right? You’re called ‘scatterbrained’! I see them!” As they reviewed each weekday, Irino summed up the two Wednesday hosts as “by far, the most scatterbrained!”

Afterwards, the three of them, including Irino, tackled the quiz segment “Answer! Who Am I?” In this game, participants ask questions about a person in question, receive answers in “YES” or “NO,” and try to guess the identity. After listening to the rules, Namikawa said confidently, “This is my specialty!” while Irino worried, “Will these two be all right? (laughs)” Namikawa made a bold statement, “Let me handle it!” but stumbled on his words, prompting Irino to jump in, “Did you hear that?! He already said ‘baka’ [idiot]! (laughs) It should be ‘ma’!” This light-hearted moment set the tone as the game began.

As questions like “Are they male?” and “Is their job a voice actor?” continued, Namikawa suggested, “I really want to ask about their favorite food, but maybe I shouldn’t,” with Yashiro pointing out, “That’s not a ‘YES’ or ‘NO’ question.” Irino joked, “Nope! Game over! Game over!” which brought laughs to the studio.

Later, when the hint about their occupation came out, Namikawa shifted his thinking: “They might not necessarily be alive,” leading Irino to ask, “Are they alive?” which got a “NO” answer. Irino expressed his amazement, “Wow! Every now and then, you work miracles.” When Namikawa predicted “pianist” and asked, “Do they have frizzy hair?” he received a “YES,” bringing them closer to the answer. When Yashiro asked, “Are they often in the music room?” someone quickly pointed out, “They’re almost always there!” clarifying it didn’t fit, while Irino exclaimed in confusion, “I don’t know about a frizzy-haired person not in the music room!”

Eventually, Namikawa honed in with a key question, found a breakthrough, and got everyone to the correct answer. In subsequent rounds, Namikawa’s skills at deduction led them to more correct answers. Irino was impressed, saying, “You’re on fire!” while Yashiro commented, “It’s like you have spiritual insight,” making Namikawa’s flashes of inspiration a highlight of the show.
