Episode 6: “Even the Outside Road Has Its Limits”
[Synopsis]
Bacteria of Tsubakiri have been implanted inside the transported ogre’s corpse. Manipulated by Tsubakiri’s ability, the corpse attacks its former comrades. The support team, who do not possess combat abilities, as well as the injured, have no means of defense; the Kyoto Branch is pushed to the brink of annihilation. Recognizing the disadvantage in battle, Kyoya Oiranzaka immediately decides to evacuate. Shiki helps his comrades fight the dead and aids with the evacuation, but feels furious at being forced into a situation where they must kill former comrades who have already died. Meanwhile, on the streets of Kyoto, the ogre squad led by Naito Mudano faces off against Tsubakiri and his group. Upon learning of the dire situation, Mudano tries to return his squad to the Kyoto Branch, but ends up trapped inside a giant box created by Yomogi’s ability. Furthermore, the monster Aguri, created by Tsubakiri, blows up the entire box…
