The story depicts a high-speed "rags-to-riches" fantasy in which an ordinary magician who died an unnatural death without being blessed with lineage or talent reincarnates as the seventh prince of the Salum Kingdom, Lloyd (CV: Makoto Koichi), who has a strong magic lineage, and masters magic with an extraordinary magical power that he could not achieve in his previous life.
