The synopsis and preview cuts for episode 17 of the anime "Kaiju No. 8" have been released.
Serialized on "Shonen Jump+" since July 2020, "Kaiju No. 8" by Naoya Matsumoto has won numerous manga awards, and with 15 volumes published to date, has surpassed 18 million copies in circulation domestically (including digital editions). Its popularity extends beyond Japan, gaining a large fanbase overseas, especially in North America.
The story begins when the protagonist, Kafka Hibino (voiced by Masaya Fukunishi), who has always admired the Japan Defense Force that hunts down kaiju, awakens to the power to transform into a kaiju himself after coming into contact with a mysterious miniature kaiju.
