The cycle of life depicted in Golden Kamuy, the prayers, betrayals, bonds, and resolve—I am proud to have been able to turn this story into a song together with ALI. I feel that the Ainu people are similar to those in Okinawa, both living in harmony with the land and, while at times oppressed, continuing to preserve their culture. Feeling that resonance of their spirits, I created “Ougon no Kanata.” This is an anthem for those who continue to fight. I poured my respect into every moment leading toward the conclusion. I hope that along with the story, this song will also be engraved in your memory.

When we received this offer, I was truly astonished and filled with nothing but gratitude.

I put all of my feelings toward Golden Kamuy into the fourth season’s opening theme, “NEVER SAY GOODBYE feat. Mummy-D,” so, for this work, I took on the challenge with an even deeper desire to convey my love.

With Awich, Chaki Zulu, and my partner Ryo "LEFTY" Miyata, who also collaborated with me on the previous track, I was overjoyed that we were able to reach vistas I could never have seen alone, through our 100% pure love for the work.

In the final chapter of the story, what will you discover in the distance beyond gold? Long live Golden Kamuy! Long live music!
