A special program, "TV Anime DANDADAN: Climax Approaching Special!" will be broadcast exclusively and for free on ABEMA on August 23 (Saturday) from 8:00 p.m.
DANDADAN is a popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, currently serialized on Shonen Jump+. The story follows Momo Ayase, a high school girl born into a family of spiritual mediums, and her classmate Ken "Okarun" Takakura, an occult enthusiast, as they confront looming supernatural oddities in this occultic battle and coming-of-age tale. Season 1 of the TV anime aired in 2024, and Season 2 is being broadcast starting July 2025.
The special program will feature Shion Wakayama as Momo Ayase and Natsuki Hanae as Ken "Okarun" Takakura. Together, they will look back over the story from Season 1 up to the latest episodes of Season 2, discussing memorable scenes and their approaches to character acting in detail.
