Maomao Realizes Jinshi’s “Secret”… The Frog Joke Turns into a Heart-Pounding Scene: “The Apothecary Diaries”

Maomao (Aoi Yūki), who unintentionally touched between Jinshi’s (Takeo Ōtsuka) legs, discovered his secret. Episode 36 of the anime “The Apothecary Diaries” features a heart-racing moment where Jinshi says, “Shall I let you confirm it?” and pins Maomao down!

The two of them were attacked by someone and managed to escape into a cave, barely escaping with their lives. Due to an accident, they ended up in a close embrace, and Maomao accidentally touched Jinshi’s groin. Jinshi, being a eunuch, is supposed to have been castrated, but there was something “that shouldn’t have been there.”

Jinshi said, “In a way, this saves me the effort of having to explain,” preparing to reveal his secret. However, Maomao, not wanting to get involved in trouble, feigned ignorance, saying, “I apologize. I may have squashed a frog.”
