This anime-specific ingenuity received a lot of feedback on X (formerly Twitter) at the time of broadcast. There were many voices of praise and surprise, such as "I love the style that strikes the viewer's heart, from the eyes and ears," "It hits you emotionally," and "Does this work have no human heart?"

The anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga of the same title by Gege Akutami, which has sold over 100 million copies in total (including digital editions). The story begins when Yuji Itadori (CV: Junya Enoki), who ends up sharing a body with the King of Curses "Ryomen Sukuna," transfers to the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, a specialized institution against curses. The second season of the anime, which aired from July to December 2023, depicted popular arcs from the original work, such as "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" and "Shibuya Incident." Production of the sequel, "Culling Game," has also been announced.
