Anime "The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest" First Main PV & Key Visual Released in North America!

At Anime NYC, North America's largest anime convention, the first main PV and key visual for the anime "The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest’ Anime Confirms October Premiere" have been unveiled for the first time in North America.

"The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest’ Anime Confirms October Premiere" is an isekai fantasy work based on the original story by author Alto. It achieved the number one spot in the quarterly rankings on the web novel site "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" as of December 17, 2020. The story follows Alec, a court magician, who, after being unjustly banished, takes on a new adventure with his former comrades from the legendary party "Lasting Period."

Anime NYC is a large-scale fan event held annually in New York, USA, celebrating Japanese anime, manga, games, and pop culture. In 2024, it attracted approximately 100,000 attendees, and this year's event saw a significant increase to about 140,000 visitors.

On the "Sakura Stage" within the venue, Crunchyroll, a streaming service based in the United States that serves over 200 countries and regions outside of Japan, announced its new anime lineup.

During this presentation, the first main PV and key visual for the TV anime "The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest’ Anime Confirms October Premiere." were revealed in North America for the first time, drawing cheers from the packed audience of approximately 1,500 anime fans and filling the venue with excitement.

The anime is scheduled to begin its sequential broadcast on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11:30 PM JST on the TV Asahi network's nationwide 24-station "IMAnimation" block, BS Asahi, and AT-X. It will also be available for exclusive streaming on ABEMA, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai from midnight on the same day.
