At the upcoming “Wonder Festival 2025 [Summer],” cosplayer Akizawa was interviewed by Anime Freaks. —What inspired you to cosplay as Chihaya Hagiwara from Detective Conan this time?

Akizawa:I’ve liked Chihaya since she first appeared in the original Detective Conan manga. If I ever got to cosplay her, I dreamed of taking photos with a police motorcycle.

—What did you want to express with this cosplay?

Akizawa:Chihaya is called the “Goddess of the Wind” in the original story—a beautiful and cool woman. I paid special attention to my expressions and posture while cosplaying her. I’d be happy if I managed to get even a little closer to the woman I admire.
