Tengen Uzui (voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi), the “officially handsome” character in “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” is attractive not just in appearance. His overwhelming kindness towards his wives—like gently patting their heads—has left fans swooning, calling him “the ideal husband” and saying things like “Marry me, too.”

As the Sound Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Uzui is a strikingly handsome figure who, impressively, has three wives. His wives—Hinatsuru (voiced by Atsumi Tanezaki), Makio (voiced by Shizuka Ishigami), and Suma (voiced by Nao Toyama)—are all kunoichi, and occasionally support Uzui in his missions.

In episode 5 of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc,” Makio and Suma face off against the sash controlled by Daki (voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro), Upper Rank Six of the Twelve Kizuki. Uzui rushes to their rescue, swiftly cutting through the sash. Smiling at his wives, Uzui says, “Sorry I’m late. I’m relieved to see you’re all okay.” He then gently pats their heads and, praising their efforts, says, “You handled things with flash. As expected of my wives.”

There’s also a flashback scene in which Uzui, in uncharacteristic honesty for a Demon Slayer, tells his wives, “When it comes to the order of priorities, I make it clear in an extravagant way—obviously, as a member of the Demon Slayer Corps, I protect ordinary people who live by quietly and unremarkably, but to be flashy about it, you all are more important to me.
