In Just 19 Seconds, Mamoru Miyano’s Hyper-Energized New Character Is Tremendously Intense! Gachiakuta Episode 9

In episode 9 of the anime “Gachiakuta,” which began broadcasting sequentially from September 7, a new character called August (voiced by Mamoru Miyano) makes his debut. Although his screen time was a mere 19 seconds, his boisterous shouting scene left an incredibly strong impression on viewers, who commented, “I can only sense something crazy coming (I love it)” and “He left too much of an impact in such a short time, lol.”

In episode 9, titled “Rakugaki no Machi,” August is seen working when Enjin (voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi) visits the room. Facing his desk, he energetically keeps the rhythm and shouts, “Dattsuku, dattsuku…” and “Uffuu~!” all by himself in a high-spirited manner.

According to the official website’s character introduction, August is described as “a mad scientist type who works as the Cleaner, responsible for designing and creating equipment and clothing such as full-face gear.” Although in this episode he appeared only from behind and for a very brief moment, he certainly made a lasting impression.

Fans were extremely excited about this new character played by the popular voice actor Mamoru Miyano, with reactions such as, “He left too much of an impact in such a short time, lol,” “August… I can only sense something crazy coming (I love it),” and “Yeah, it’s already crazy—even though it was only a view from behind, you can absolutely tell it’s going to be wild.”
