The "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" anime series is based on the manga of the same name by Koyoharu Gotoge, which was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2016 to 2020. The story is set in the Taisho era and follows the struggle of Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was slaughtered by demons. The TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc," which began airing in April 2019, quickly became a sensation, and the sequel "Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train" surpassed 50 billion yen in worldwide box office revenue.
