The First Animated Adaptation of Aki Hayakawa & Himeno’s Weekly Home-Drinking Episode in "Chainsaw Man - The Compilation" Mini Anime: Himeno’s Adorable Excuse "It Was Drunk Me Who Did It!"

Viewers were delighted by Himeno’s excuse scene, with comments like, "Himeno-senpai is just so cute. So cute," and "I really do like her."

The anime "Chainsaw Man" is based on the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, which has surpassed 30 million copies in circulation. The story begins when the protagonist, Denji (voiced by Kikunosuke Toya), is betrayed and killed. He forms a contract with Pochita, the Chainsaw Devil (voiced by Shiori Izawa), and is resurrected as the "Chainsaw Man," possessing the heart of a devil. The TV anime aired in 2022, and the movie adaptation "Chainsaw Man – Reze Arc" is scheduled to be released in theaters on September 19, 2025.
