The synopsis and preview cuts for Episode 22 of the anime series YAIBA Samurai Legend have been released.
Based on the manga YAIBA by Gosho Aoyama, who brought numerous hit works to the world such as Detective Conan, Magic Kaito, and Cleanup Hitter No. 4, the story was originally serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday from Issue 39 of 1988 through Issue 50 of 1993. This action epic follows the wild samurai youth, Yaiba Kurogane (voiced by Minami Takayama), as he charges forward in pursuit of even greater strength and the true spirit of the samurai. The original manga boasts a total of 17 million copies in circulation across its 24 volumes. The TV anime series, YAIBA Samurai Legend, which draws from this source material, has been airing nationwide on the Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV networks in the Saturday 5:30 p.m. time slot since April 5.
