[SYNOPSIS]
In order to learn a fighting style that does not rely on the power of Kaiju No. 8, Kafka receives personal instruction in Defense Force-style martial arts directly from Sōshirō Hoshina. Coincidentally, this is the very tactic that Hoshina himself perfected. During these days of training, Kafka is finally given back his cell phone, and he receives messages from his fellow trainees for the first time in a while. Meanwhile, the Defense Force top brass are overwhelmed responding to a series of unsolved kaiju incidents occurring throughout Japan.

It has been decided that the special program "Fight, Outbreak! 'Kaiju No. 8' Season 2 ABEMA Special!" looking back at the anime's journey so far, will stream on ABEMA on September 20th (Saturday) from 8:00 p.m.

Main cast members including Masaya Fukunishi (Kafka Hibino / Kaiju No. 8), Fairouz Ai (Kikoru Shinomiya), Kengo Kawanishi (Sōshirō Hoshina), and Kōki Uchiyama (Gen Narumi) will gather to reflect on the story of "Kaiju No. 8" Season 2 so far, sharing behind-the-scenes anecdotes from recording.

In addition, future highlights featuring decisive battles against "Kaiju No. 9" and others will be introduced. The show will also feature a special ABEMA version of the popular "Can You Do It in 8 Seconds? Challenge!" from the official "Kaiju No. 8" social media. The cast will take on various missions to see if they can complete them in just eight seconds.
