September 12 (Friday) is "Space Day"! Three New Anime Series Related to Space, including "Gundam GQuuuuuuX" and "Orb: On the Movements of the Earth"

Me and the Alien MuMu

"Me and the Alien MuMu" is based on the comedy manga currently serialized in "Young King OURs" (Shonengahosha) by Hiroki Miyashita.

The story follows MuMu, a cat-shaped alien who comes to Earth to learn about household appliance technology in hopes of reclaiming technology lost by his species, and Sakurako, an ordinary female college student who suddenly finds herself living with him. The anime is a "super spectacle x all about appliances x cat comedy" depicting their chaotic cohabitation. The TV anime is now airing for two consecutive cours starting from April 2025.

MuMu's cuteness as a cat-shaped alien, along with the "chemical reaction" between him and the ordinary female college student, has gained widespread popularity.
