[Photos/Images] Rave Reviews for Surpassing the Realm of TV Anime! The Godly Animation of Tengen Uzui vs. Gyutaro in "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Makes Fans Want to See It in Theaters 1st

There are numerous scenes in the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" anime series that have stirred up a storm of praise as examples of "god-tier animation." One of these is the fierce battle in Episode 10 of the Entertainment District Arc, featuring the Sound Hashira, Tengen Uzui (voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi), facing off against the Upper Rank Six demon, Gyutaro (voiced by Ryota Osaka).

In Episode 10 of the Entertainment District Arc, the battle with Gyutaro finally reaches its climax. Uzui, who possesses exceptional hearing, analyzes Gyutaro's movement patterns by converting them into sound. Even though he had already lost one arm, Uzui managed to keep up with Gyutaro using only his right arm. The two exchanged blows at such blinding speed that surrounding buildings were destroyed, and sparks scattered all around.

The overwhelmingly powerful battle scene prompted a flood of rave comments, such as "This is basically on par with a theatrical movie," "The speed and intensity of the action are insane," "How is this animation even possible?" "Wow, this is so cool... I’m honestly falling in love...," and "Seriously, in the past ten years, I don't think I’ve ever felt this excited watching anime in real time." At the time of the broadcast, many fans requested, "Please release the Entertainment District Arc in theaters," and "I desperately want to see this on the big screen!" Their wishes came true, as a re-edited version was screened nationwide this May as "Kimetsu Theater."
