TV Anime “Fate/strange Fake” Scheduled to Air from Saturday, January 3, 2026! Latest PV & First Key Visual, OP Theme “PROVANT” Revealed

The TV anime “Fate/strange Fake” will begin airing on Saturday, January 3, 2026, it has been announced. Along with this news, the latest promotional video and the first key visual have been released. The opening theme “PROVANT” was also unveiled in the PV.

“Fate/strange Fake,” a new story revolving around the “Holy Grail” written by Ryohgo Narita (well-known for the “Baccano!” and “Durarara!!” series) and published by Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA) since 2015, is being adapted into an anime. Set in the United States—making it the first time the “Holy Grail War” takes place there—the series will depict fierce battles and chaotic struggles between numerous mages (Masters) and Heroic Spirits (Servants).

Animation production will be handled by A-1 Pictures, which also produced “Fate/Apocrypha” in 2017. Directing are the up-and-coming talents Shun Enokido and Takahito Sakazume, both of whom have brought fresh visual interpretations to animation CMs for the app game “Fate/Grand Order” and for the original light novel.

The first key visual was specially drawn by A-1 Pictures. In the latest PV, the opening theme “PROVANT” was revealed, performed by SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Jean-Ken Johnny & TAKUMA. Comments from the artists have also been released, in which they discuss the process of creating the song.
