Originally created by Shō Makura and illustrated by Takeshi Okano, this legendary and immensely popular occult comic, with a total series circulation of 29 million copies, was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1993 to 1999 and has been adapted into a new anime. The story is a school hero action series featuring Meisuke "Nube" Nueno (voiced by Ryōtarō Okiayu), a psychic teacher with an Oni hand, who risks his life to protect students from the threats of yōkai and evil spirits.
