[Photos/Images] For the Week of September 8, the Anime "Weekly Ranking" Sees "DANDADAN" Take First Place for Six Consecutive Weeks! "Kaiju No. 8" Returns to the Top 5 for the First Time in Four Weeks 1st

The "Anime Weekly Ranking" for the week of September 8, as viewed on ABEMA, has been announced.

"DANDADAN" is based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, serialized in "Shonen Jump+" (Shueisha). The story follows Momo Ayase (voiced by Shion Wakayama), a high school girl born into a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate and occult enthusiast Ken "Okarun" Takakura (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), as they face approaching supernatural mysteries in this occult-themed action and coming-of-age tale.

When the first season of the TV anime aired in October 2024, its unique occult-themed battles and profound storyline quickly became a hot topic, and the cumulative number of copies of the original manga in print surpassed 10 million. The second season has been airing since July 2025, and the new battles of Momo, Okarun, and their friends have been drawing a great deal of attention.

In the ranking for the week of September 8, "DANDADAN" continued to hold the top spot, remaining first place for six consecutive weeks. In addition, "I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince," which was ranked fourth last week, moved up one position. "Kaiju No. 8" returned to the Top 5 for the first time in four weeks.
