The synopsis and advance scene cuts for Episode 12, "The End and the Beginning," of the TV anime's third season, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3, have been released.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is a fantasy series based on a light novel by Rifujin na Magonote — serialized since 2012 on the novel-submission site Shōsetsuka ni Narō — that serves as the original work. It follows a 34-year-old jobless, single shut-in who is thrown out by his family and eventually dies in a traffic accident, only to be reincarnated in a world of swords and magic as Rudeus Greyrat (voiced by Yumi Uchiyama). Drawing on the memories and regrets of his previous life, he resolves to "really live this time" as the story depicts his epic adventure. The series has sold more than 18 million copies to date, and 2026 marks the 5th anniversary of its anime adaptation.
