Even Without the Love Hashira, This Scene Will Make Your Heart Flutter! Obanai Iguro Giving Socks to Mitsuri Kanroji in "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" Is Just Too Cute

Who would have thought we’d get to see such a rom-com moment in the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba"! There’s no doubt that anyone will be captivated by the clumsy kindness of the Serpent Hashira, Obanai Iguro (voiced by Kenichi Suzumura), as he gives a present to Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira (voiced by Kana Hanazawa).

Though Obanai is a difficult and eccentric person, he seems to have feelings for Mitsuri, who is also one of the Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. In episode 10 of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc," their "date" is depicted in one of Mitsuri’s memories.

While they are out eating together, Obanai hands Mitsuri a pair of socks, saying, "Here, take these." Mitsuri is overjoyed and responds, "Wow! I’m so happy! I’ll treasure them forever!" To this, Obanai brusquely replies, "You don’t have to treasure them," showing his awkward affection. While looking away, he adds, "If they get torn, I’ll give you a new pair," giving a glimpse of his gentle side.
