Momo, Okarun, and Turbo Granny Celebration Visual Unveiled! Anime "DANDADAN" Season 3 Production Announced!

The production of the third season of the anime "DANDADAN" has been announced. Along with the announcement of the third season, a visual featuring Momo, Okarun, and Turbo Granny has been unveiled.

This series is a popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+" (updated every Tuesday), with a cumulative circulation of over 10 million copies. The TV anime’s first season aired from October to December 2024, and the second season aired from July to September 2025.

The story follows high school girl Momo Ayase, born into a family of mediums, and her classmate, the occult enthusiast Ken Takakura, also known as Okarun. They start talking after Momo helps Okarun out from being bullied by their classmates. However, a debate arises between Momo, who believes in ghosts but denies aliens, and Okarun, who believes in aliens but denies ghosts. To convince each other of the existence of these supernatural entities, Momo goes to a UFO hotspot at an abandoned hospital, and Okarun to a haunted tunnel. There, they encounter overwhelmingly bizarre phenomena that surpass their understanding. In the face of danger, Momo awakens latent powers, and Okarun acquires the power of curses, as they confront the approaching mysteries. A fateful romance also begins!? An occult battle & youth story unfolds.
