Even when an Upper Rank demon suddenly emerges from behind the fusuma, a genius swordsman can react instantly! In episode 3 of the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc," the Mist Hashira, Muichirō Tokitō (voiced by Kengo Kawanishi), handled the demon with superhuman speed.
In episode 3 of the "Swordsmith Village Arc," Muichirō and Tanjirō Kamado (voiced by Natsuki Hanae) are having a friendly chat in a room. Then, the fusuma slides open and Hantengu, Upper Rank Four (voiced by Toshio Furukawa), appears in tears. While Tanjirō, confused, asks, "Wait, are you a demon?" Muichirō immediately draws his sword and, in a swift series of movements, unleashes the Mist Breathing, Fourth Form: Shifting Flow Slash.
Muichirō's instantaneous response to the demon was met with widespread acclaim, with comments like, "As expected from a Hashira—his decisiveness is out of this world," and "Muichirō is just too cool..."
