The anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" features not only main characters but also a lavish supporting cast of voice actors. In Episode 1 of the "Hashira Training Arc," veteran voice actor Sho Hayami played the role of the Kasugai Crow, captivating many viewers with what was described as an "incredibly ikebo" (handsomely voiced) performance.

Kasugai Crows serve as the messengers for the Demon Slayer Corps. While minor roles in the story, these birds have surprised viewers with appearances by renowned voice actors such as Takumi Yamazaki, Rie Kugimiya, and Manaka Iwami in the Kasugai Crow roles.

In Episode 1 of the "Hashira Training Arc," a Kasugai Crow serving Kagaya Ubuyashiki (voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa), the head of the Demon Slayer Corps known as "Oyakata-sama," makes its appearance. The Kasugai Crow for Oyakata-sama is voiced by veteran Sho Hayami, who has portrayed numerous popular characters across his career. The Kasugai Crow said lines to Tamayo (voiced by Maaya Sakamoto) such as, "Good evening, Tamayo," and "It's dangerous, you know, leaving the windows wide open at night. But tonight, the moon is truly beautiful."

Viewers were enthralled by Hayami's deep-toned Kasugai Crow, sharing reactions like, "There it is!!! Oyakata-sama's crow with an unbelievably ikebo voice!!!!!" "Even the lines are too handsome," and "After hearing Hayami-san's ikebo crow, it's almost nerve-wracking to see real crows outside—like they might start speaking with that voice."
