"Waah, Waah"—Imagining Left-Behind Nezuko from Her Big Brother’s Perspective: Nezuko Was Just Too Cute in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Viewers were smitten by the sight of Nezuko Kamado (voiced by Akari Kitō) crying big tears, missing her older brother. In the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc, the version of Nezuko who appeared within Tanjirō Kamado’s (voiced by Natsuki Hanae) imagination instantly captured the hearts of viewers.

In Episode 7 of the Hashira Training Arc, Tanjirō was about to head to train with the Water Hashira, Giyū Tomioka (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai). On the way, Tanjirō worried, “I wonder if Zen'itsu will be all right. And Nezuko—I wonder if it’s okay to keep leaving her with someone else.” Then, as Tanjirō wondered whether Nezuko was feeling lonely, an image of Nezuko as a “mini-character” appeared in his mind, crying huge tears.

Viewers were charmed by Nezuko’s adorable crying face, with comments like, “Crying Nezuko is just too good,” and “She’s so cute!”
