The anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga of the same name by Koyoharu Gotoge, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2016 to 2020. Set in the Taishō period, it tells the story of Tanjirō Kamado, a boy whose family was slain by demons, as he battles for survival. After the Unwavering Resolve Arc, the TV anime continued with the Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc. The climactic episodes, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Arc, have been announced as a trilogy.
