Original Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade Story Arc "Jugoku Island," Where Nanami is Rescued, Reveals MAPPA-Produced Opening Video

We are Who-ya Extended, and we are honored to perform the theme song for the original "Jugoku Island" main story arc in "Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade." Being able to immerse yourself in the world of "Phanpare" as though you become a character yourself, we put our hearts into creating a song that would make the battles even more intensely passionate. Thinking of Yūji and his friends, who continue to carve out their destiny with their own hands despite losing so much, we created "Chained Chase."

We are simply happy and honored to once again become involved in the world of "Jujutsu Kaisen" through music. We hope both the app and the song will be loved by many.

Visuals & Voice Cast for New Original Characters in "Phanpare" Unveiled! Plus, Key Visual for Jugoku Island Arc Released!

Three new original characters featured in the opening video also join "Phanpare," and their visuals along with their voice actors have been announced. In this new arc set in a prison, Eiji Urushi, the head prisoner, will be voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi; prison guard Ritsu Mitsufuji will be voiced by Yui Ishikawa; and Hidaka Shirakura, a jujutsu sorcerer who has been incarcerated, will be voiced by Yūki Kaji.

(1) Story Event "Norari, Kurari" to Be Held

The story event "Norari, Kurari" will take place. As a limited reward for this event, the SSR Reminiscence of Blessings "[…so, take care.]" will appear. In conjunction with the event, for the first time, Atsuya Kusakabe will be introduced as a playable SSR character titled "[Deflecting Sharp Blade] Atsuya Kusakabe," and the SSR Reminiscence of Blessings "Grade 1 Sorcerer on the Breakwater" will be added. Both will be featured in the pick-up pool during the period.
