Remembering Those Words...! The Teachings of the Flame Hashira, Kyōjurō Rengoku, That Continue to Give Strength to Tanjirō in "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba"

The famous line "Set your heart ablaze," spoken by Kyōjurō Rengoku (voiced by Satoshi Hino), moved "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" fans worldwide to tears. In Episode 6 of the anime’s Hashira Training Arc, viewers were once again touched as it became clear that the late Rengoku's teachings continue to support Tanjirō Kamado (voiced by Natsuki Hanae).

Tanjirō struggled with rigorous training to move a gigantic boulder. In order to maximize his concentration, he visualized his family as well as remembered the words left to him by the late Rengoku: "Set your heart ablaze." With these thoughts in mind, he was able to move the boulder.

Online, the scene of Tanjirō succeeding in his training by holding Rengoku’s teachings close to his heart sparked a flood of emotional reactions: "I got chills when Tanjirō made Rengoku’s words his driving force and moved the boulder," "Rengoku is always alive in Tanjirō’s heart," "Rengoku’s words are giving Tanjirō strength...!" "Rengoku was truly so great," and many more.
