Contrasting sharply with the "lighthearted" charm of the "strongest sorcerer," Gojo’s piercing gaze drew tremendous reactions on social media, including comments like, "His eyes are revealed—here it comes!" "He’s angry! LOL," and "Whoa, Gojo’s not playing around!" Many viewers were thrilled, saying, "Gojo’s rage at the end was incredibly cool," "Badass Gojo-sensei was amazing," and "I got chills."

Jujutsu Kaisen is based on Gege Akutami's manga of the same name, which has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation, including digital versions. The story begins with Yuji Itadori, who, after coming to share his body with the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, transfers to the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, a school specializing in battling curses.

The TV anime’s third season, “The Culling Game: Part 1,” following the "Shibuya Incident," is set to begin airing in January 2026. Before the broadcast, the first and second episodes of Season 3 will have their world premiere in theaters as part of the "Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident Special Edition × Culling Game Advance Screening," opening November 7.
