Mild-Mannered Nanamin Snaps! Kento Nanami of "Jujutsu Kaisen" Goes Full Swing at a Weeping, Trembling Enemy, Embedding Him into the Wall

Kento Nanami (voiced by Kenjirō Tsuda) is a sorcerer who maintains a calm and mature demeanor but is actually highly skilled in physical combat. In the anime "Jujutsu Kaisen," one of Nanami's most iconic moments occurs in Episode 36, where he reveals an intense anger rarely seen as a result of his friends being harmed.

Nanami is a Grade 1 sorcerer who graduated from Jujutsu High. Having once left the world of sorcerers to work as a salaried employee, he is known for his slicked-back hair parted to the side and his suit attire. He always speaks calmly and collectedly but harbors a strong sense of justice and a deep empathy for others.

During the "Shibuya Incident," a massive battle between sorcerers and cursed spirits/cursed users, Nanami expresses anger like never before. When he arrives to see auxiliary manager Kiyotaka Ijichi (voiced by Mitsuo Iwata), a non-combatant, lying on the ground, bloodied, Nanami mutters through clenched teeth, "How dare you..." The culprit was Haruta Shigemo (voiced by Wataru Hatano), who takes pleasure in deliberately attacking the weak. Even after attacking Ijichi, Shigemo continues his rampage, targeting Nobara Kugisaki (voiced by Asami Seto) and non-combatant Akari Nitta (voiced by Sora Tokui) as well.

Nanami then appears, approaching Shigemo slowly and with a stern expression. He asks, "How many of my comrades are left, and where are they positioned?" but Shigemo ignores him and attacks. Nanami remains completely unfazed. He asks once more, veins bulging, "How many of my comrades are left, and where are they?" The moment Shigemo replies, "I don't know," Nanami swings his fist and sends Shigemo flying.
