Approaching Shigemo, who has been knocked into the wall, Nanami repeats, "How many of my comrades are left, and where are they?" When Shigemo stays silent, Nanami delivers another intense punch. Fixing Shigemo with a piercing glare, he states, "Several auxiliary managers were killed before I got here. That was you, wasn't it?" and then delivers a final, all-out blow.

Nanami's fierce anger and willingness to fight for his non-combatant comrades drew widespread reactions online, such as, "Nanami fighting for his comrades is seriously cool," "He's really a caring, good person," "Veins bulging with rage, Nanamin was awesome," and "The art of angry Nanamin and his level of fury surpassed expectations." Kenjirō Tsuda's performance as Nanami also received high praise: "To intimidate this much with just his voice is insane," and "'How dare you,' uttered in that low, intimidating tone, was amazing."

"Jujutsu Kaisen" is based on the manga of the same name by Gege Akutami, which has surpassed a total of 100 million copies in circulation, including digital editions. The story begins when Yūji Itadori, who comes to share his body with the King of Curses, Ryōmen Sukuna, transfers into the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, an institution specializing in combating curses.

The TV anime's third season, "Culling Game: Part I," which follows the "Shibuya Incident," is scheduled to begin airing in January 2026. Ahead of the broadcast, the world's first screening of Episodes 1 and 2 will take place in theaters via "Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident Special Compilation x Culling Game Premiere Screening," starting November 7.
