Anime "Fushigi Yugi" 30th Anniversary: All 52 Episodes Now Available for Free Limited-Time Streaming on Studio Pierrot’s Official YouTube

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the TV anime broadcast of "Fushigi Yugi," Studio Pierrot’s official YouTube channel began a special limited-time free streaming of all 52 episodes starting October 3.

The TV anime "Fushigi Yugi" originally aired from April 1995 to March 1996 for a total of 52 episodes. The series is an adaptation of the manga of the same name by Yu Watase, serialized in "Shoujo Comic" (published by Shogakukan). While primarily targeted at a female audience, the show features numerous battle scenes and elements that attracted a wide range of viewers regardless of gender, making it one of Studio Pierrot's signature works from the 1990s.

For this special streaming event, all 52 episodes are being released on the channel in sets of four starting on October 3. Four new episodes are made available every Friday at 18:00 JST, and each set will be available for viewing for four weeks from the release date. In addition, a special 30th anniversary website has been launched with the hope of sharing the charm of "Fushigi Yugi" not only with fans from the time of the original broadcast but also with first-time viewers.
